Gemma Doyle Trilogy
Have you ever read a book or series that haunts you years after you’ve read them? Well, these are those books for me. And I mean “haunts” in the best way possible of course.
Sometimes I just get these very descriptive flashbacks from scenes in the books. I think, in part, it’s from the intense imagery the author was able to create in this series. That was obviously a highlight for me, but really, everything about these books was amazing: the characters, the plot, the writing…
Warning: this is also a book that will wring your emotions from you. This series made me stressed out, scared, awestruck, heartbroken, elated, etc. If the characters felt it, I felt it.
